Excellent service. Extremely reliable, leaves no mess, economical, responsive and well worth every cent ! Will continue to use this service - we are customers for a few years now and never had any issue; even when I forgot to leave out my bag ! Saves bringing (or forgetting to bring) glass to the bottle banks.... they even remind you when they are coming and then send another reminder that they are near; so convenient and you never forget to recycle ! You should really give it a try.
I've been a client of Glassbag circa 5+years. They are authentic, sound individuals, David, Mark and team, providing a dependable, professional and punctual service at a very-reasonable price, with a genuine environmentally-responsible focus & ethos. I recommend Glassbag wholeheartedly.
Using that service for years now, always very good. Very handy, you don't have to go to the bottle bank and sort it out, specially if you are color blind😅
Great service, reasonably priced. Appreciate the text and email reminders leading up to the collection time!
A really great value for money service to free up your weekends from the recycling runs. Great communication and efficient service from the team. Highly recommended.

Common Questions
How does the first collection work?
After you sign up, we schedule your first collection based on your area. Use a sturdy bag (Dunnes, Tesco, etc.) for your first collection — we deliver your free sturdy reusable GlassBag on that day.
What if I'm not home on collection day?
No need to be home. Just leave your filled GlassBag outside your front door. We'll text you the night before and send a close-by update when the driver is nearby.
Can I try it once without subscribing?
Yes. Our €15 once-off option gives you a single collection with no subscription, no commitment, and no follow-up charges. It’s the easiest way to try GlassBag before deciding on a plan.
Can I cancel anytime?
Monthly subscribers can cancel anytime with no penalties through the customer portal. Annual subscribers are billed upfront for 12 months.
What glass can I put in the bag?
Glass bottles, glass jars, and carefully placed broken bottle or jar glass. Our sturdy GlassBag is made for household glass collection. Please rinse bottles and jars. Lids can be left on for GlassBag collections. We cannot accept ceramics, Pyrex, mirrors, drinking glasses, light bulbs or window glass.
Don't glass recycling bins take bottles and jars?
No — in Ireland your household glass recycling bins (the green bin) don't accept glass bottles or jars. Glass breaks in the bin lorry and contaminates the other recyclables. Bottle banks take them free, or we collect them from your doorstep. Read: what bin does glass go in?
