Welcome to our ‘How It Works’ section. We hope this can provide you with all the necessary information around how the service works but we’re only an email away if you want to ask any questions at all.
Check out our Pricing Page to view the different options available. We provide a Once-Off and Monthly collection service depending on your requirements.
Once you’ve decided on the best option for you, simply place the order and fill in your address details. Please include your EIRCODE and Mobile number as we need this information later on.
Once we have received the order, we will ship you one of our durable collection bags and it will arrive within 5 working days.
Our bags might look a bit small but they can hold quite a lot of glass. You will be able to fit close to 50 beer bottles or 20 bottles of wine in one bag (and a lot of glass jars).
We have divided each area we service across different days of the month based on your EIRCODE. This information will be in your confirmation email & also the fulfilment email for when we ship the bags (plus we have a calendar if you need below). If your area isn’t listed – please reach out @ firstname.lastname@example.org.
The night before your collection is due, you will receive a text to your number on file to notify you of the collection.
We ask that you leave the bag out the night before in a visible location to ensure it isn’t missed by our collections. We will then leave you with the bag once we’re finished collecting the glass.
Every time we collect your glass. We will be leaving you back with the same bag. This is to help you with the storage off any glass build up that happens through each month or until your next collection.
We always recommend that you clean your bag after each collection. This is a very simply process and only requires you to rinse the inside of the bag with some soapy water, wipe it down and hang it up on your clothes line for it to dry.
